Skrivanek and across signed a partnership contract at the end of 2007, based on which Skrivanek is introducing world-class translation processing technology in Central and Eastern Europe.

Skrivanek is implementing the across Language Server technology to their everyday operations and processing of translation projects, helping to continuously improve the quality of translations while speeding up and streamlining the entire translation process.

• Supports quality through creation and centralization of client translation memories (including possible access of clients to translations and client proofreading done in a simple editor).
• Enables a significant increase in the translation process speed (files remain in a single centralized repository), including the possibility to establish a team of translators and proofreaders working simultaneously on a single project, sharing a single translation memory.
• Contains revolutionary tools for quality assurance, order management and deadline monitoring.
• Maintains consistent terminology according to the client’s needs (clients have a simple way of accessing their own terminology; terminology can be maintained, updated and approved).
• Ensures a high data security level (only files stored on the server can be accessed).
• To clients using CMS (Content Management Systems) or publishing systems, across offers interconnection options, including direct ordering and sending/receiving of translations from/to these systems in a single mouse click.

Across is a comprehensive tool combining the advantages of CAT tools, terminology tools, order management applications and vendor management tools.

It is a renowned and efficient application platform, allowing to concentrate all projects to a single point and process them in an automated way to rule out the most common errors.

Across will be used both by our translators and proofreaders for sharing translation memories and terminology glossaries and our project managers to monitor order delivery deadlines and manage the entire order processing, including final translation quality assurance and inspection.
